Racetime GPS lap timer and this site have been developed in their entirety by Eng Roberto Morini.
I decided to develop this app frequenting boxes of large and small tracks of Romagna. I noticed that the main problem of the drivers in this period of crisis is the high cost of vehicles and equipment.
One of the costs incurred by pilots is to install a turret-clock transponder or to buy a GPS chronometer to detect lap times. At this point I thought, why not use the GPS on the smartphones that many people already have? A medium smartphone costs definitely less than a GPS device used for the sole purpose of detecting the time at the finish line.
From this idea came Racetime, an app that allows you to have a GPS chrono with a lot more features than the classic ones, such as the calculation of split and differences by sector than your best time and the previous lap. The ability to save all the run in order to observe the progress and the difference between different assets and calculate your pace.
The real strength of Racetime is to be able to add all possible circuits without having to reinstall or update the app, but merely pointing out the new track through this site, in a short time by downloading the circuit, your track will be part of RaceTime’s circuits!
I trust in your reports in order to grow the number of circuits, to allow more and more drivers to take their time on the track and improve themselves thanks to Racetime.
